My Leadership Story
I am a Certified Public Manager and trilingual (ASL, English, and Spanish) executive leader, currently serving as a gubernatorial appointee on the Nevada Commission for Deaf and Hard of Hearing, with a demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusion, access, and equitable opportunity across diverse systems and communities. My work is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves the ability to thrive — through meaningful employment, education, and full participation in community life.
With extensive experience across multiple states in workforce development and vocational rehabilitation, I have led cross-sector initiatives that expand access and reduce systemic barriers for underserved populations. I have partnered with state agencies, community-based organizations, education systems, healthcare providers, and employers to design and implement strategies that strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes at scale.
My leadership is centered on building and aligning systems — bringing together stakeholders to develop innovative programs, formalize partnerships, and establish sustainable service models. I am known for translating vision into action through strategic planning, operational execution, and relationship-driven collaboration that supports both the individuals served and the professionals delivering services.
I am particularly passionate about advancing equity for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals, people who are blind or visually impaired, and youth transitioning into adulthood. I bring a strong understanding of the intersection between access, policy, and practice, and I work to ensure that systems are responsive, inclusive, and designed to meet the evolving needs of the communities they serve.
As a leader, I am driven by impact — strengthening systems, expanding access, and creating pathways that empower individuals to build independence, confidence, and long-term success.
